The Hermès Birkin is probably one of the most coveted and desired bags in the world.
While the classic Birkin tote bags are popular, there is a very special something about the JPG (for Jean Paul Gaultier, Hermès' chief designer) Shoulder Birkin with extra long handles, oversized "chunky" hardware and extra wide soft body. True to its name, the JPG is carried very well on the shoulder with the extra long handles (almost 6 inches) and the Togo grain. The model is extremely stylish and modern as well with the oversized cadena, larger strap guides and larger buckles.
This is the newer JPG model, also called the JPG II, which resembles the Birkin more closerly than the older versions. The strap guide hooks are open at the top, and the front turnlock "nose" is round. The body is sleeker and taller than the older models, and the interior features an extra cell phone pocket and stash pocket.
Extremely hard to find in this color/hardware combination. One thing we love about the oversized hardware is that it goes well with the style - the large front lock almost "balances" out the wide body, and the bag functions well even with the front buckles closed and lock attached.
This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of use. Corners are clean with no signs of rubbing or scuffing, aside from very, very slight spots here and there that are barly visible. Hardware is shiny and not discolored or faded. Interior is clean. Please see photos for details.
